WOW Internships

Internship Opportunities:

The WOW Center offers an internship program to all students enrolled in local colleges and universities interested in different areas of ministry and social services. Students taking part in our internship program are paired with an experienced staff member who will serve as their internship advisor.


We recommend sending your resume for the internship program at least four to six weeks before your anticipated start date so that we may process your application accordingly. Volunteer Opportunities:

The WOW Center offers a variety of different volunteer opportunities weekly and throughout the year.  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please apply below under FAQ's.

  • What should I know to be a volunteer?

    We welcome volunteers who are passionate & committed about empowering women in our community. You don't need special skills, just a desire to make a difference. Whether it's helping at the food pantry or clothing boutique, offering financial wellness advice, or leading fitness classes, your support is invaluable. Join us in loving and serving women in numerous ways!

  • May I become a volunteer if I never did it before?

    Of course you can! We will come alongside you, train you and get you ready to love and serve at WOW.

  • Can I volunteer based on my availability?

    Absolutely! Just let us know what program or service you are interested in, what your availability is and we will work with you to find the perfect opportunity!

  • What days are you open for volunteer opportunities?

    We are open Monday through Friday and closed on the weekends. In rare occasions & depending on the season, we may have weekend volunteer opportunities

  • What do I need to do to begin the process of becoming a volunteer?
